U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company serves as a promotional sponsor for a number of motorsports activities and events that are aligned with the adventurous lifestyle valued by many of our adult consumers.
We sponsor a U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company dragster that competes on the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) circuit. The car, owned by racing legend Don "The Snake" Prudhomme, is driven by Larry Dixon, Jr. (left), one of the sport's leading stars. As a company, we also sponsor the Amp'd Mobile Sports Supercross Series, AMA MotoCross, Toyota AMA Arenacross, and Freestyle Motocross.
At dozens of events a year associated with these organizations, we have a major presence with two mobile marketing units, the U.S. Smokeless Racing TourSM and the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Motorsports ExperienceSM. These interactive exhibits — which are set up as adult-only facilities, open just to those 18 years of age and older — feature memorabilia, artifacts and a variety of simulated competitions.
