Directions to Company Headquarters
The headquarters for both UST Inc. and its primary subsidiary, U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company, are located at 6 High Ridge Park, Stamford, Connecticut, and are easily accessible by either automobile or train:
By Automobile
From New York:
Via Merritt Parkway (Rte. 15) North
- Take Exit 35
- At the bottom of the exit ramp, go straight through the light onto Buxton Farms Road
- At the stop sign, turn left and go past the fire station into High Ridge Park
- Make the first left into the driveway for building #6
- At the top of the driveway, UST headquarters is on the right.
Via I-95 North
- Take Exit 7, Greenwich Ave.
- At end of exit ramp, continue straight on frontage road (South State Street) for about ¼ mile
- At next traffic light, turn left under highway onto Washington Boulevard (CT-137N)
- Drive for about 2 miles on Washington, which eventually becomes Cold Spring Road
- Just past Long Ridge Road, turn left onto High Ridge Road and continue for about 2 ½ miles
- Just before northbound entrance to Merritt Parkway, turn right onto Buxton Farms Road
- At the first stop sign, turn left and go past the fire station into High Ridge Park
- Turn left into the first driveway for Building #6
- At the top of the driveway, UST headquarters is on the right
From Connecticut:
Via Merritt Parkway (Rte. 15) South
- Take Exit 35

- Take Exit 7, Atlantic St.
- At end of exit ramp, continue straight on frontage road (North State Street) for about ½ mile
- At third traffic light, turn right onto Washington Boulevard (CT-137N)
- Drive for about 2 miles on Washington, which eventually becomes Cold Spring Road
- Just past Long Ridge Road, turn left onto High Ridge Road and continue for about 2 ½ miles

By Train
From either Connecticut or New York City's Grand Central Station, take Metro-North Railroad (New Haven line) to Stamford. There is a taxi service from the Stamford station to headquarters, a distance of about five miles.
